This Privacy Policy describes how Khenitech ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and protects the personal data of users ("you") of the Rainpot mobile application ("App"), available on iOS and Android. It applies in accordance with the Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act, 2023 of India and the applicable requirements of the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
By using the App, you agree to the collection and use of your data as described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

We collect only what is necessary to provide the App's features. All data is linked to your account and used solely for App Functionality.

We use the following Google/Apple services to operate the App. These services act as data processors on our behalf and are governed by their own privacy policies.

We do not use advertising SDKs, analytics platforms, crash reporting services, or any other third-party services beyond those listed above.
Your data is stored in Google Cloud infrastructure operated by Google LLC. Firebase encrypts data in transit (TLS) and at rest. Access is restricted to your account using Firebase Security Rules — no other user can read or write your data.
We implement reasonable organizational and technical safeguards appropriate to the nature of the data we hold. In the event of a personal data breach that is likely to result in harm to you, we will notify you and the relevant authority as required by applicable law (within 72 hours where required under the DPDP Act).
We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account (see Section 7), all of your data is permanently deleted from Firestore and Firebase Storage immediately. We do not retain backups of individual user data after deletion.
Technical logs generated by Firebase (e.g., authentication event logs) are retained by Google according to Firebase's own retention policy, typically 90 days.
You can permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time:
Account deletion is irreversible. All data is permanently erased and cannot be recovered.
Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you have the following rights as a Data Principal:
If your grievance is not resolved to your satisfaction, you may file a complaint with the Data Protection Board of India (DPBI) once the Board becomes operational. Information on how to contact the DPBI will be published at meity.gov.in.
The App is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. Under the DPDP Act, processing of personal data of children (under 18) requires verifiable parental consent. If you are under 18, please obtain parental consent before using the App.
If we become aware that we have collected personal data from a child without appropriate consent, we will delete it promptly. Contact us at contact@khenitech.com if you believe this has occurred.
By creating an account and using the App, you provide free, specific, informed, and unambiguous consent to the collection and processing of your personal data as described in this policy.
You may withdraw your consent at any time by deleting your account (see Section 7). Withdrawal of consent will result in the termination of your ability to use the App, as processing is necessary for its operation.
Your data is stored in Google Cloud infrastructure, which may be located outside India (including in the United States and European Union). Google maintains appropriate safeguards for international data transfers. We will comply with any cross-border data transfer restrictions notified by the Government of India under the DPDP Act as they come into effect.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect any changes. For material changes, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you within the App. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
